Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf), a slacker with an over-achieving twin brother. When his brother died because of an accident, strange things started happening to Jerry. His bank account was filled with a huge amount of money, guns were delivered to his flat and next thing you know he was being chased by the police for reasons he doesn't know. All of this was followed by a strange phone call instructing him all throughout the movie. Jerry then crosses path's with a woman he has never met, Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan), and it just so happens that the same thing has been happening with the woman. Jerry and Rachel soon realize that they are in the same boat in trying to find out who and what the voice wants.
